Empowering Marginalized Communities Through Education, Advocacy & Access
Verdure Merci Life Care Initiative is a non-profit organization focused on supporting vulnerable groups, especially teenage mothers, women, and children, through education, clean water, sanitation, and advocacy. They needed a website that not only told their story but mobilized support, showcased impact, and encouraged donations and involvement.
The primary goal was to design a website that communicated the NGO’s mission with clarity and emotional resonance while driving donations and volunteer engagement. The platform had to educate visitors, inspire trust, and provide simple pathways to take action—whether through donations, volunteering, or partnership.
The design approach was heartfelt and hopeful, balancing professionalism with empathy. Soft, calming colors and warm imagery were used to reflect the NGO’s compassion-driven work. A structured layout guided visitors through the organization's mission, goals, programs, and ways to contribute.
The client needed a platform that emotionally resonated with visitors while offering them practical next steps. The site had to inspire confidence among stakeholders and be easy for staff to update with ongoing progress and campaigns.
We studied successful NGO websites and reviewed user behaviors around donation platforms. A strong narrative, combined with transparent goals and visible impact, were key to driving user trust and engagement.
The website helped position Verdure Merci as a credible and compassionate force for change. Within the first quarter, the NGO saw a notable increase in online donations and new volunteer sign-ups. Visitors praised the website for being clear, inspirational, and easy to navigate. The platform now serves as a key tool in driving awareness and support for their mission.
